The 5 ceramides on which the cream is based are Ceramide NP, Ceramide NS, Ceramide EOP, Ceramide AS, Ceramide AP.
Ceramides are a lipid that up to 50% of the skin barrier is made of. Ceramides help the skin retain moisture and nourishment, while ceramides protect the skin from irritation.
