9 Years of Shadows is a side-scrolling Metroidvania by Halberd Studios. Join Europa, a courageous warrior, as she enters the mechanical giant Talos to stop the corruption threatening the world. Explore a hand-crafted dark world alongside Apino, a magical floating bear who heals, shields, and attacks corrupted enemies.

Use elemental powers-lightning, water, earth, and fire-along with special armors to traverse hidden paths and defeat formidable foes. Encounter charismatic NPCs, uncover the story behind the curse, and restore color to a ravaged land. Music drives the adventure, with a soundtrack by Miguel Hasson and guest composers Michiru Yamane and Norihiko Hibino, integrating gameplay and healing through musical interaction.
